Embroidery Needles

Embroidery needles are specialized sewing needles designed specifically for hand embroidery. They have a few key features that make them different from regular sewing needles:

Key Features:

  1. Longer Eye: Embroidery needles have a longer and slightly wider eye (the hole where the thread goes) to make it easier to thread thicker or multiple strands of embroidery floss or specialty threads.

  2. Sharp Point: Most embroidery needles have a sharp tip to easily pierce through fabric, which is important for precise, detailed stitching.

  3. Variety of Sizes: They come in different sizes, with lower numbers indicating thicker needles and higher numbers being finer (e.g., size 3 is thick, size 10 is fine). The right size depends on the thread and fabric you’re using.
